I have seen people with sky-high levels of cholesterol because of genetics. Are they treated any differently?
I really have my doubts that heredity plays a role in high cholesterol. Many things they try to link to heredity such as cancers and diabetes are not really hereditary.
Liver function still remains as the primary factor for cholesterol levels. So regardless of the cause cleansing the liver with bitters is my first choice. Lecithin granules also work great for lowering cholesterol. Sterol sources such as jiaogulan can help bind dietary cholesterol.
