Yes, candida does affect the liver. The case is even more so in reverse, if the liver is not functioning properly candida will flourish for three reasons:
1. Liver controls blood Sugar levels
2. Bile is inhibitory to candida
3. The liver is part of the immune system

Milk thistle is good for repair to the liver, but is not strong enough to start the process. I would recommend liver flushes, chinese bitters, dandelion, and chlorella.
