Sparing Tissue From Catabolism
Hey all,
I thought I ought to start a thread about sparing tissue in the continuation of hyperadrenalism/hypoadrenalism (posted in osteoporosis forum too, as they will have knowledge of rebuilding bones).
Personally, my body is breaking down faster than I'd like, which I would like to minimise.
My teeth and gums are suffering particularly as the enamel weakens and thins
I know that many of you are experienced with living alongside this tormentor, so I'd like to draw on and learn from that experience.
Here's what I've tried thus far:
- Chewing gum (works - keeps plenty of saliva in my mouth to protect from bacteria and promote mineralisation of teeth)
- Bone/chicken broths (not possible - glutamate content excitotoxic - RESEARCHING HOW TO INHIBIT)
- Hydrolysed collagen (trying at moment - upping dose gradually to observe for excitotoxicity)
- Free Amino Acids
- L-Lysine (not making much difference - 1000mg per day)
- L-Proline (not making much difference - 1000mg per day)
- L-Glycine (not making much difference - 1000mg per day)
- Calcium/Magnesium salts/chelates (not possible - even doses of 25mg upsets my small intestine causing electrolyte imbalance, which is bad for low aldosterone)
- Natural Silica/Calcium/Magnesium
- Bone Meal (not enough magnesium to balance out calcium and so difficult to dose/balance)
- Nettle leaf infusion (not possible - nettle is a diuretic, which is bad for low aldosterone)
- Oatstraw infusion (not possible - frees up testosterone and gives me sore nipples)
- Horsetail (not possible - diuretic and other side effects)
- diatomaceous earth water (not possible - causes feeling of hypertension and heart pain)
- French
Green Clay water (not sure about any difference)
- Bamboo Gum (waiting for delivery to try out next)
- Natural Vitamin C
- Garden of Life Living C (quite expensive - 500mg per day in 4 tablets and not sure how much more potent natural form is)
- Vitamin Code Raw Vitamin C (expensive - not available at moment in UK)
- B Vitamins
- Brewer's Yeast (Lewis Labs premium brand expensive - not sure if it makes much difference)
- Raw kidney (grated from frozen and made into a paste)
- Bee Pollen (seems to only contain small amounts of pantothenic acid, which are not therapeutic enough)
- Jarrow B-Right (yellow pee and not sure if it's potent enough)
- Jarrow Pantethine (Pantesin) (tried 1 per day, then 2 per day, although not sure if there's any difference)
- Zinc
- Bought some Zinc picolinate but not tried yet due to comments by GaiaSophia about it increasing tooth sensitivity.
- Maybe this is useful for displacing copper, if there is toxicity.
- Fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, K2
- Eating raw liver (vitamin A - seemed to always work for vitamin A instead of cod liver oil)
- Using a UVB vitamin D sunlamp (vitamin D during winter! - just testing at the moment)
- Eating butter and egg yolks regularly as well as animal fats and organ meats (vitamin K2 - for depositing minerals in right places)
- Supplementing with non-esterified vitamin E (not noticing much difference)
Does anyone have any other ideas, particularly for sparing collagen/skeleton with this seemingly relentless catabolism?
Thanks for your deepest consideration.
Very best regards,
BBQ
