Very interesting, i have been taking calcium orotate for two years now with good results and have not experienced any side effects at all and think it far outways the daily cocktail of drugs i used to have to take like ibufrofen & codiene, plus all the other drugs i have tried over the years Antibiotics , steriods, devils claw, valium, chinese medicines.
I dont know how it works all i know is Calcium orotate is the only known calcium supplement to travel through the cell membrane to deliver the benefits of calcium, some off us do not absorb calcium in fact i have been lactose intolerant all my life so maybe thats where my tietze problems stem from-who knows!!!
It also stops the muscles from cramping which i am told by my doctor is the cause of the heart attack pains that we feel.
Also magnesium is needed for calcium absorption without enough magnesium calcium can collect in the soft tissues and cause inflammation. Tweet
