Post Clinic Visit Update

Yesterday, I went to the clinic where I got the Mirena put in. Nurse Practitioner said it looked fine. She gave me Seasonique to help regulate my period again. Hoping that works.

From her records, and my memory, I gained about 20 pounds in the first 6 months of having the Mirena in, and have lost 10 pounds recently. Currently, I'm going to attribute that to the emotional stress I was under at the time which also messed with my eating habits.

Also, I have had some of the emotional symptoms, but they are often associated with my period, so I'm not going to jump on connecting them to the Mirena just yet. If my period goes back to less or nothing and the emotional issues keep up, I'll make another visit.
