Castor Oil & Lymphocytes

Hi all,

I'm new here but have been lurking for years. Back in July I was using castor oil packs on & off and had some lab work the day after using one on the liver. My bloodwork came back with slightly low lymphocytes. A few weeks after I had multiple abscesses (which is unusual for me, as I have always had a strong immune system). I've waited until now to have the blood work redone because I didn't want it to be skewed by the infections. But I'm wondering in the meantime could the castor oil have caused a temporary lowering of lymphocytes? This has got me quite freaked out as everything I have read says castor oil actually increases lymphocytes. I have my blood tested at least once yearly and have never had a low lymphocyte count. My WBC was slightly high, but that is nothing new & has been going on for years - probably because I've had multiple inflammatory issues (arthritis, prediabetic and erosive gastritis at different times).

Thanks,

Wendy
