My Fasting Buddha

To all....Here's my Fasting Buddha sitting in the middle of my Wheatgrass. This picture was taken several years ago when I was full of piss-and-vinegar. Oh, how the years are getting away.
Legend has it that the Buddha ate a very small amount of food during his period of austerity.....seeds or nuts, if I remember correctly. Anyway, the Bottom Line is he didn't achieve Enlightenment until he started practicing the Middle-Way....avoiding extremes.....WY
