Enlarge "neck" of Bladder

When I was 13 (1971), I still wet the bed, so I my parents forced me into a "surgical procedure". The way they described it was "inserting a plastic collar, through the urethra and into the "neck" of the bladder, to enlarge it. I looked in my A&P book from college, and there is no "neck" of the bladder.
All I see is where the prostate is located.
