Oh my Gosh!!!
I didn't know this forum was here, or what it was about.
By chance, when I came here, I happened to click on 'books', above, and clicked 'more about this book/author'.
There was the plan. And, I added (subtracted) my own
food sensitivities .
Kerbang!
All indigestion disappeared!
And now my bathroom habits seem to be resolving...and I feel better...actually this morning, and my motivation has picked up.
These last improvements have taken, say, a month.
I had my
food sensitivities checked about twenty years ago, in a naturopath's office, but I failed to put much importance on it...even though my family was told I was 'allergic' to cow's milk as a newborn, and they bought a goat.
(Gotta tell you: Nanny got into the blackberry wine in a crock on the back porch. She couldn't get her front legs uncrossed by herself.)
Anyway, I was soon having milk on my porridge and sometimes milk pudding. You know, one of those "You'll grow out of it" kind of things.
Although, I never did drink a glass of milk, except buttermilk.
I have tried many variations of diet, usually letting each slide after a while.
Weight Watchers works! But I prefer the old-fashioned version...4 'beef' meals per week, so many chicken, eggs, lots of fish, measured amounts of vegetables from the A list, and so on. I didn't bother with liver...gag!
Still, lately I've felt slight indigestion nearly every day, until I came here, and remembered my
food sensitivities .
I am recovering from a stroke one and a half years ago, and diabetes. I also quit 50 years of smoking one and a half years ago.
There is no substance I have given up that bothers me still...perhaps because I am headed in the right direction, for me.
I'll let you know how it goes.
One very happy Fledgling
P.S. I am also continuing with my all-important rounds of Humaworm and Hu-Mana-Tea.
P.P.S. I have been eating Hellman's Mayonnaise for decades. I stopped for a year, a few years ago. Since my health didn't seem to be affected, either way, I eventually took it back, again eating some every day.
I truly believe that its ingredients are not my best, so, in the past I have made my own mayo. It is easy, but I haven't yet gone back to the effort. I will.
