Can the step after boiling for 4 hours and removing the leaves (boiling down to 50%) be postponed for the next day? Also, wouldn't it be easier to strain and filter the thinner liquid at this point than after the soup has been boiled down 50% to "the consistency of chicken soup"?
I started my soup and boiled for 4 hours, then removed the Oleander from the soup yesterday, and didn't have time to finish it until today and it has since cooled off. I was thinking that this thinner "soup" would be easier to strain than when it's thickened.
