my experience passing lots of partially digested ascaris

Hi Megan,

I have been passing Ascaris for 6 months now. I now see them every single day, even when I stop taking meds for a month or so. I accidentally came up with a diet that kills them. I stopped eating the food that they crave and eat lots of food that they don’t like. (I’ve been meaning to do a detailed post about my diet. I just haven’t had the time yet.)

Whenever I take a round of mebendazole/vermox I pass maybe 5 or 6 times more worms. The worms that I pass are in all stages of deterioration. I find it curious that the Ascaris that you pass weren’t digested at all. Perhaps, yours are located lower down in your colon instead of your small intestines.

It seems like there is a lot of confusion on these boards concerning what is mucus or mucoid plaque, and what are worms. My personal experience from seeing worms in my stool everyday, sometimes 5 or 6 times a day, is that long thin mucus strands of various colors are what digested worms look like. Sometimes the worms are so digested that there’s just this wispy look to the stools. I have also passed worms that are only slightly digested. I passed one that was over 2 feet long.

My personal experience is that the standard dose of mebendazole (100mg twice a day for 3 days) is way too weak to cause a blockage. We would be lucky if the drugs worked that well. But I think that you could just take a very small dose of mebendazole (or whatever meds you decide to try) and gradually increase it. I get the most die off a week or week and a half after I’ve taken a round of mebendazole.

I also have found that herbal dewormers are more toxic for my body then the mebendazole. I get nauseous from herbal dewormers. I use alternative medicine for most ailments and I rarely take meds. But I knew that I needed them to eliminate this many worms. Even Susun Weed recommends drugs for heavy worm infestations.

I have worried about a mass die-off causing a blockage in my intestines or some other organ. I have passed a stool completely composed of partially digested worms. I have also passed a handful of worms all at once. I think that the key to not having an intestinal blockage is to do whatever you have to do to keep your bowels moving.

Good luck with whatever you try.
