Canker Sores and Sinus Irrigation?

I'm a 33 year old man and have been having major canker sore issues this past year. Never have I had so many reacurring canker sores. On my tongue, cheek, lips, gums. I didn't realize you could get canker sores so severely!
I started irrigating my sinus cavities with a neti pot at the beginning of the year. This has dramatically helped my sinus issues but I'm beginning to wonder if this could be a cause for the canker sore out breaks I have been having. Does anyone have an opinion on this?
