Hey. I've never posted in this forum before but I recall something that I saw about six years ago when I was walking down the high street in Edinburgh. It was daylight btw. I saw a white light fairly high up, farther than the clouds anyway. It was moving slowly in one direction (towards me) and just stayed there for a few seconds, slowly turned and headed back the way it came, it didn't speed up. It was there for around 30 seconds in total before I lost sight. For a helicopter it would have been too high if I wasn't able to see it's body. A plane couldn't have turn so tightly as it did. It was too strange a behaviour for any helicopter or plane I think. Nobody else would have seen it, it was pretty small, I just happened to be looking at the right spot at the right time in a gap between the clouds.
I recently watched this interview with Martyn Stubbs which included some footage of some light phenomena that he recorded from NASA space missions, and the lights on those were very similar to what I saw, they way they move.
Has anyone seen anything like this in the daytime before?
