I don't know who said dry fasting can't be discussed...? I doubt any of us would want someone to go headlong into it, without collecting good information from those with lots of experience, though. Well, the times are a-changing... It used to be that it was always suggested to have a
Water Fast of more than three days professionally supervised.
(Of course many of us didn't.)
I mentioned Fonty in the dry fasting thread. He swore by the power of DF.

That's not strictly true, if you consider that "fasting"
(as we mean it here) doesn't really begin until
you have entered ketosis, (and some of the old masters stated it doesn't begin in earnest until the seventh day) Also, presumably, your body is not tied up with a lot of digestion and congestion: you *could* fairly truthfully say that most people are constipated.
