Re: Acidosis, Calcifications, Magnesium and Vitamin K
IMO - most people in industrialized countries are likely deficient in vitamin K for a number of reasons...
1. antibiotic and other pharmaceutical and OTC use.
2. chlorinated and fluoridated water.
3. fake and refined fats and oils in diets.
4. refined and\or excessive sugar intake.
5. refined and\or excessive refined carbohydrate intake, including refined grains.
All of the above wipe out the vitamin K producing\converting (K1 to K2) microflora.
Other reasons include...
1. not eating enough top quality greens EVERY DAY.
2. not eating enough of the right kind of fats and oils, such as saturated and polyunsaturated.

Granted the study was in mice, however, there are more out there... and it is a prime example on how profound diet changes can be in improving health.
