You're welcome. I'm glad I can relay my experiences in a way that benefits you who read my words. I know my responses tend to be long-winded, but I hope they are concise enough to retain interest.
I think once the 'mystery' of true fasting has eroded in the mind, the actual act of proceeding with a fast becomes simple and easy. Truly this erosion must be catalysed by our own personal experience, as even someone who reads about fasting for months surely doesn't "know" the experience.
Wait patiently. Use your strength when required during the first leg of the fast, and you'll be able to rest easy soon thereafter. A fast seems like an entirely different beast once you "know" fasting first-hand.
