Post endoscopic sinus surgery

I just had endoscopic sinus surgery this morning. My doc removed polyps which were blocking airways, as well as removed a large amount of infected material which had filled about 90% of my sinus cavities on my cheeks (for lack of medical term). He also corrected my septum which was crushed blocking one side all together. I am dealing with the pain just fine, but the comfort is the issue with gel packing.... My question is: Can I smoke marijuana out of a vaporizer to relieve some of this uncomfortable feeling, or would this cause inflammation and slow the healing process?
