Re: How to kill bacterias in the small intestine?
It seems that the problem with sibo is bacterias that are in the small intestine and should not be there.
So eradicating them could be a solution.
I found garlic and ginger a bit harsh.
I just responded to your other post about garlic as to why it will not work. And ginger is an antacid, so it is not a good idea either.
Curcuma seems less harsh but I 'm wondering if it would be enought.
Curcumin from turmeric is also an antacid, and is a close relative of ginger. Although this is still a good choice for a simple reason. The antiseptic curcuminoids are poorly absorbed by the body. So most of it will remain in the intestines where it can directly contact the bad bacteria. Eating yellow curry dishes is a simple way of getting a lot of curcumin in to the gut and the other things in the food will help counter the antacid effects of the turmeric.
Licorice root and yucca root are also great due to the steroidal saponins that can also kill pathogens.
peppermint oil and GSE seem to be not that safe as I have been told here.
The big problem with peppermint oil is that it relaxes smooth muscle including the lower esophageal sphincter (LES), which can lead to acid reflux.
And I would avoid GSE completely due to the quanterium ammonia compounds.
What othets thing could cleanse the small intestine.
Any help please ?
