Shay....Yes, Fasting is very Biblical. However, the majority of people, who profess to follow the Bible, don't practice fasting. It's a taboo word in my family.
The Bible tells us to 'wash our face' while Fasting (to appear as not to be fasting). There were also people mentioned in the Bible who wore a pale makeup, to appear to be fasting.
I've learned a lot about Human Nature over the years.
