Re: Whale Wars is a perfect example of veganism.

Just for the record, I will always state that *some* people, perhaps about 20%, if they do it right, which takes a great deal of work, effort, and perseverance, not to mention requires for most, a dependency on the global food agribusiness, CAN follow a vegetarian\vegan diet and remain healthy... some of the most important aspects of this are attention to culturing and maintaining good, beneficial gut microflora, AND, consuming a good quantity of healthy fatty foods (avocados, etc.) and raw, whole, unrefined oils, AND paying attention to B vitamin rich food consumption, especially B12.
It is the fats and oils, specifically the types of fats and oils, that help to keep one's *mind* about them enabling them to use common sense, reason, and maintain an even keel.
I worked with a *fat* vegetarian before myself... he had narcolepsy, high blood pressure, and diabetes as well.
From my observations, he may have been an obligatory omnivore... however, his diet had become his *religion* and there was no changing that.
