OK, this shows that you do not understand how moderating works and how CureZone Forums work.


If a RyanD posts a message that is a personal attack, and then other people pick on it and start returning personal attacks, the civilized debate becomes more like a debate between teenagers.

What have moderator done in this case?

She decided to hide the message where it all started.

She has hidden the message of RyanD, and as a result, all of the replies to that message have become invisible.

That is the main reason why all of your invisible messages are or were invisible.


That is just how CureZone Forums software works.


A moderators have a single click tool that can hide parts of a big thread or a whole thread.


What can you learn from this?


Simple: "It takes 2 to tango!"


If you see a message by RyanD, and that message is a personal attack, you have several options

1. Hit the Alert Bad Message button (the best choice)
2. Ignore that message and read other messages (good choice )
3. reply to that message or reply to any message that is a reply to that bad message (very bad choice)


Why is 3. very bad choice?


Cause once the moderator removes the offending message, odds are great that all the replies (no matter how long is the reply thread) may disappear too, cause we do not want to keep personal attacks on Debate Forums , and because analyzing every single message posted in reply to a personal attack takes much more time then just clicking on a HIDE button and removing it altogether.





So, if I ever hear one more complain against this moderator, I am personally going to block person complaining.



dbModerator has done wonderful job, and so far with very few, rather cosmetic errors, nothing of major importance!

She learned from her errors, and she is here to stay.

NO MORE PERSONAL ATTACKS!
