Actually, I don't think the alert buttons work any more in many of the forums.  Or maybe it's the moderator ratings buttons . . . (they surely do work in my private forum though.  I can't post nary a thing without Luella wanting to give it a rating.  Ah well, far better than no ratings at all . . .)
