Well, I felt "hunger" through day 3 of my fast and from that point until now (day 11) I have been ambivalent towards food. I think for most people it's similar to that so you probably can rest easy not worrying about hunger coming up on you.
Once your body switches over to Ketosis (day 4 or so) you shouldn't feel any sort want towards food until your body's reserves have been nearly depleted (use the mirror as a good indicator of whether you have reserves left of not). As a rule, any feelings of "hunger" from your gut in the first few days are simply your body SCREAMING for more stimulus (food), which it's not getting. It's similar to bodies addicted to nicotine reacting against the lack of nicotine.
They say that real hunger is felt in the mouth and throat, and doesn't involve stomach rumblings or anything like that at all. I am yet to feel real hunger, probably at any point in my life, but as I move along with this fast I'm on I'll let you know what to expect.
