easy to understand if you allow reality to set in.

and was alluded to in the article. blacks are the quintesential victims in amerikan life. they are the only distinguishable group of people that have been under the white's thumb via slavery. for all to see. all other colors have thrived in amerika except blacks, to the level in 2010 they really should've. victims. plain and simple. and as victims the black amerikan turns to whoever or whatever can "give back" to what he is owed for that harm...and that is gov'ment handouts.

doesn't seem like much positive to blacks from our side of the fence but for the person who thrives on victimhood and bitterness...it's an inheritance of sorts. the results matter very little, all that matters is that i get something from everybody else. i'm due. i'm owed that. that's the black angle. i've seen it for decades now firsthand. the hatred of the amerikan way of life, free enterprise, doing it all on your own. that's foreign to most of the black population. gov'ment is the protector, not the problem that you and i see it. it really is a waste of time for gop types or conservatives to beg the black man or woman for a vote. it'll never happen. they are attached to the gov'ment as strong as the white man is tied to free enterprise and the freedom that his talents will serve him.

is it a shame? sure, but by this time in history blacks should have moved on. i'm really not that impressed by what blacks have done with the amount of liberty given. not impressed at all. chinese, japanese, hispanics, women, gays, etc. have all surpassed blacks in all areas of enterprise except for sports and entertainment. blacks should've done so much more. but they will never give up bitter memories of past wrongs. and because of that one fact, they will never reach the top of the ladder because while they are lamenting and groping for pennies, other groups are grasping for dollars.
