Yes I think your right. I watched a programme on tv last night which took us back to earlier times when the UK led the field in nuclear power and found that it was not cost effective plus of course the problems with waste although we had plants that dealt with it.
So at the moment we are seeing many alternatives to keep the lights on.
I still think it will not be too long before they latch onto something viable. Problem is that instead of everyone putting their ideas together we all make the mistake by trying to be first and make capital from it.
There will come a time when it will be too late for that so we live in hope that energy needs around the world will be globalised and we can then all share it before too much damage is done to the planet.
