Re: Rash on face, pustular bumps, flushing - WITH PICTURES!
I checked out the photos, and you have the same condition as me, SD, as your dermatologists say.
I would really disuade you from using the steroids. The steroids will cover up the problem, sometimes, but never cure it. You'll be going back to the dermatologist over and over, and this is the greatest hope of the dermatologists : lots of business.
Topically I would suggest using honey, coconut oil, vitamin C oil or sweet orange oil, or raw aloe from the plant. I have experienced relief from all of these, the best idea probably being to rotate or multi-attack it. I probably have had the best success with vitamin C essential oil.
I have not had much success with supplements, but swiss chard is an excellent vegetable to use as it is high in PH and contains lots of biotin to aid the skin. i have actually had my
Seborrheic Dermatitis disappear for a week after one day of eating a lot of swiss chard.
Some people believe in the internal ingestion of supplements like MSM, Zinc, Biotin, L-Glutamine, GSE, Garlic, NAC, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, omega-3 and/or probiotics as being curative.
None of these have worked for me on a consistent basis, although I have yet to try the MSM/ZINC/Biotin combo.
The main thing is to get off the steroids, otherwise you're just perpetuating the fungal infection.
