Industrial use of Gulf of Mexico fish
I posted this info on another forum, but
thought a mention of this info would also
be good to post here.
A lot of fish are harvested to go into
pig and chicken feed. There will probably
be other ways contaminated fish will now
be caught to mix into other products we
would not suspect will be ones we buy
without knowing we are ingesting part
of the Gulf Oil Disaster.
I'm heading back to veganism...
hoping the fish will not end up
as fertilizer for my broccoli. Of
course, a gazillion tons of the dead
wildlife and oil were buried in landfills
which will eventually leach into water
systems and be another issue to contend
with...

and you probably did not know that dead
fish are ground up and fed to farmed fish...

...also, not to leave out cows and our
household pets, fish is also included
in their feed...from the Gulf of Mexico...
