Re: My remedy for toothache

I came in curezone today to report on a "cure" that seems to be very new to this site. I have searched "cashews" and repeatedly seen mentions of them as natural snacks and possibly having fungi or critters in them. Since I first found out that cashews had healing properties when researching toothache 10 years ago I will post here first.
here is a site that I came across in 2000 and kept in my mind for the occassional toothache I have in a wisdom tooth with a vertical crack in it.

Does it work? OH YEAH!! I have let this thing go to the point of abscess and turned it around in a couple days with cashews. I want to say "Raw cashews" but that is a relative term compared to roasted... lol cashews are slightly cooked to remove the shells but it does not seem to effect the active ingredient and In fact I have heard and used roasted when "raw" was not available though I prefer the unroasted and they do not seem to trigger overmunching. It has been 14 years with this bad tooth, 10 since I have used the cashews not only to cure but prevent problems.

Why not get it fixed? The dentist wants to do a root canal and crown it. To me that sounds like sealing in all the awful bacteria and charging me a bundle beyond the insurance not to mention the torture of the work! I may have it pulled eventually as I did the other side but for now it is an ongoing experiment... lol

How to do it? when really bad pain is involved I chew a couple nuts every couple of hours and leave the film of it in the mouth(I know yuck!) to work it's bacteria killing magic. Make a pure nut butter of it if you cannot chew and taking a half teaspoon of it let it mix with saliva to coat mouth. When all is back to normal I chew a couple cashews twice a day (after brushing in the evening).

~~~ my most recent cure with cashews~~~
Thanks to a friend and dr oz I was made aware that the active ingredient in the cashews also have an effect on H Pylori which I suspected I had a problem with but did not yet show up un tests. You know the drill "all your tests have come back normal" cute picture of the drill On Andy's "No Exit" book cover>>>
In the mean time gut wrenching pain and sometimes fevers in the gut for the last 2 years. So with the new information I did a few searches that turned up lots to recommend it and I started to chew a couple cashews every waking hour and had a few by the bed for when I woke up at night. I did this for 2 weeks and I can say tentatively that I have not had the pain since the first couple of days. A tenderness (from palpating)continues so after a few days rest I am one week into a second course of them. But NO Antibiotics !! Hooray!!!
My friend also had been diagnosed H Pylori but it was after 4 trips and blood work plus an Upper GI test. She took 2 Antibiotics for 2 weeks that tore her poor aching guts up even worse but yes she is now not testing in the bad range. She thought it was cute that Dr oz mentioned my favorite toothache cure as being useful in H Pylori and passed the info on to me. I could kiss her!! This is so much better than dr visits tests and meds.
