I know this is an old subject but it is dear to my heart and maybe some others. I have been taking Iosol, then Lugol's and finally Iodoral up 50 4 plls/50 mg/day) for the past 3 months. I noticed an initial weight loss (probably water) then gradual weight gain-nothing big, I didn't grow out of my clothes but enough. I had been taking vit c, multi-v, selenium. I finally found a B-complex my stomach would tolerate (TJ's 50) so I added 1/2xs/day and upped selenium from 200 mcg to 400 mcg (1 pill/2xs/day). That was 2 weeks ago and the weight started dropping off almost immediately. Nothing drastic, but my clothes are now much looser on me. So upping the bcomplex and selenium worked for me.
