Can ACV cause a UTI?

I started taking Bragg's AVC a couple of weeks ago - 2 tsp per cup of water. Sometimes a little honey. I drink it 3x a day.

Three days ago I began to have swelling and burning painful urination. I took some homeopathics and it subsided within one hour.

This morning I woke up and was really in discomfort from the same symptoms plus the urgency to urinate after I knew bladder was empty.

I NEVER get UTIs. I spoke to a couple of friends that I knew had tried the ACV drinks and two of the women both said they had to stop due to very irritated bladders. As soon as they stopped the ACV, they were fine.

How can this be? ACV is supposed to clear up UTIs !!!
Can anyone help me understand?
