Barbados looses its Prime Minister to Pancreatic Cancer

Only just over twelve hours ago Barbados lost our beloved Prime Minister David Thompson to pancreatic cancer. We grieve for his loss. In 2008 he was energetic and full of promise. We elected him. In May he complained of stomach pains, and now five months later at the age of 48, he died. What a terrible oppressive feeling of sorrow and loss. If I feel this way, I can't imagine how his family feels. Thanks for letting me get this off my chest. Tweet
