Candida vs. Armour

Hello all,

I've read that Canditoxins "squelch" thyroid hormone and thyroid function. If so, Candida may have been the root cause for my becoming hypothyroid.

With that in mind, how much of a detriment is a strong intestinal candida infestation to making progress when one starts "Armour"? In other words, does it take longer for "Armour" to build up and become effective or is a higher than "normal" dosage required to adjust for it?

You see, I'm trying to decide if I should put more emphasis on trying to "put the hurt" to Candida with lots of topical Iodine over my gut and thereby risking the extra toxin load (die-off) "squelching" "Armour" which might cause my body to think it's getting less thyroid hormone (i.e., leveling off) which could lead to hypo symptoms "returning with a vengeance."

Or just letting my body gradually get healthier at a slow pace and let my immune system get stronger so that it can put the hurt to it on its own.

Any thoughts? Thanks!

Paul

P.S. I purposely didn't include any dosages or go into detail about the type of "Armour," amount of iodine, iron, zinc, etc. because I'm mainly asking about the process of toxins vs. thyroid hormones.
