Re: More Nana-technology.

There is a local woman in our town making bathroom mats out of plastic shopping bags, and plastic pallet wrapping.

These mats are non-slip, perfect for wet and tiled floors. They are really easy to clean, and last for ages. Also good for the kitchen floor.

They can also be used for mats in outdoor areas, where normal outdoor carpet would get wet and moldy.

They are attractive and can be made in as many colours as there are plastic bags, or you can have the clear plastic wrap ones, they look really good in modern kitchens and bathrooms.

These mats are a great way to keep plastic bags out of landfill, and give them a new life.

This website has some instructions on how to make these mats.
