How to say the Rosary 1. Make the Sign of The Cross |
THE PRAYERS OF THE ROSARY
The Apostles Creed
I BELIEVE in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell; the third day He arose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, sitteth at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed by Thy Name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from all evil. Amen.
Hail Mary, full of grace! The Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
Hail! Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then, O most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy towards us; and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement! O Loving! O sweet Virgin Mary!
Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Let us pray. O God, whose only begotten Son, by His life, death, and resurrection has purchased for us the rewards of eternal life, grant, we beseech Thee, that meditating upon these mysteries in the most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may imitate what they contain, and obtain what they promise: through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.
Fatima Prayers
O My Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell; lead all souls to Heaven, especially those who are in most need of Your mercy.
My God, I believe, I adore, I trust and I love Thee. I beg pardon for all those, who do not believe, do not adore, do not trust and do not love Thee.
St. Michael Prayer
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle; be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray. And do thou, O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the divine power of God, cast into hell, satan, and all evil spirits who wander throughout the world, seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
Annunciation
"Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women." [Luke 1:28]
Visitation
"When Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary the babe in her womb leapt, and she was filled with the Holy Spirit." [Luke 1:41]
Nativity
"And she brought forth her first-born Son and wrapped Him in swaddling clothes." [Luke 2:7]
Presentation
"According to the law of Moses, they took Jesus up to Jerusalem to present Him to the Lord." [Luke 2:32]
Finding in the Temple
"After three days they found Him in the Temple. He was sitting in the midst of the teachers." [Luke 2:45,46]
THE LUMINOUS MYSTERIES
The Baptism of Our Lord in the River Jordan
"Here, as Christ descends into the waters, the innocent one who became "sin" for our sake (cf. 2Cor 5:21), the heavens open wide and the voice of the Father declares him the beloved Son (cf. Mt 3:17 and parallels), while the Spirit descends on him to invest him with the mission which he is to carry out."
Our Lord's manifestation at the Wedding at Cana
"The first of the signs, given at Cana (cf. Jn 2:1- 12), when Christ changes water into wine and opens the hearts of the disciples to faith, thanks to the intervention of Mary, the first among believers. "
The Proclamation of the Kingdom of God
"The preaching by which Jesus proclaims the coming of the Kingdom of God, calls to conversion (cf. Mk 1:15) and forgives the sins of all who draw near to him in humble trust (cf. Mk 2:3-13; Lk 7:47- 48): the inauguration of that ministry of mercy which he continues to exercise until the end of the world, particularly through the Sacrament of Reconciliation which he has entrusted to his Church (cf. Jn 20:22-23)."
The Transfiguration
"The mystery of light par excellence is the Transfiguration, traditionally believed to have taken place on Mount Tabor. The glory of the Godhead shines forth from the face of Christ as the Father commands the astonished Apostles to "listen to him" (cf. Lk 9:35 and parallels) and to prepare to experience with him the agony of the Passion, so as to come with him to the joy of the Resurrection and a life transfigured by the Holy Spirit."
The Institution of the Most Holy Eucharist at the Last Supper
"Christ offers his body and blood as food under the signs of bread and wine, and testifies "to the end" his love for humanity (Jn 13:1), for whose salvation he will offer himself in sacrifice."
Agony
"Jesus came with them to Gethsemane and He began to be saddened and exceedingly troubled." [Matt. 26:36,37]
Scourging
"Pilate then took Jesus and had Him scourged." [Jn. 19:1]
Crowning
"And plaiting a crown of thorns they put it upon His head and a reed in His right hand." [Matt. 27:29]
Carrying of Cross
"And bearing the Cross for Himself, He went forth to the place called The Skull." [Jn. 19:17]
Crucifixion
"And when they came to the place called The Skull they crucified Him." [Luke 23:33]
Resurrection
"He is not here, but has risen. Behold the place where they laid Him." [Luke 24:6; Mark 16:6]
Ascension
"And He was taken up into Heaven and sits at the Right Hand of God." [Mark 16:19]
Descent of Holy Spirit
"And suddenly there came a sound from Spirit Heaven...and there appeared to them parted tongues...and they were filled with the Holy Spirit." [Acts 2:2, 3, 4, 11]
Assumption
"Hear, O daughter, and see; turn your ear, for the King shall desire your beauty. All glorious is the king's daughter as she enters; her rainment is threaded with spun gold." [Ps. 44:11, 12, 14]
Coronation
"And a great sign appeared in Heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars." [Rev. 12:1]

"My children, My little humble children, I appeal to you as your Mother, go forward on foot, knock on the doors; bring the light to your brothers and sisters. For those who have been given great grace, much is expected of them." - Our Lady of the Roses, May 26, 1976
"As disciples of the latter days, My children, much shall be asked of you, but I assure you: all that you give in faith and charity shall be returned to you threefold." - Jesus, June 1, 1978
