Re: CHEW WELL!

Without gallbladder your digestion has become less efficient, but my feeling is that this is not the main point.

When I was quite young I was working and studying: the whole day I was busy, with almost no time to eat. I developed gastritis. I went to doctors… no clue why, no solution. Somehow I saw myself the answer: I just was eating too speedily!

In 3 or 4 days eating slowly and very aware, the gastritis was gone forever. This incident happened 32 years ago.

Chewing properly is not news, you must have heard about it many times, but most probably you don’t do it, as almost 95% of the people don’t do it. We just forget about it. That is normal in this speedy society.

But this habit can be unlearned very easily if you understand the reasons why it is so bad. It is not only gastritis what you are getting through it, but acidity in the whole body, arthritis, parasites, infections, constipation or diarrhoea, etc., etc., etc.

Saliva makes the food alkaline, predigest the food, makes it digestible. If not enough time in the mouth the stomach has really no chance to digest properly. NO CHANCE!

If the food that is gone inside the body doesn't become nourishment, it is a burden, something for what the body needs to work hard to get rid of.

But the new habit is easy to relearn, we just have forgotten, one has to get to the point to enjoy the food and its juices, without effort, just normal, enjoying it, in a very easy and letting go mood.
