Synthetic FMO3

I decided to google sythetic FMO3 just for giggles and found a site that sells it. It is crazy expensive and won't sell to the US. I wonder why it isn't available to the public. Because it's expensive? Or does it not work if taken orally? I can't find any information online. It feels like a Conspiracy that they don't let us buy it even if we can afford it. Hasn't anyone done studies on it?
