Hard little nodule on butt cheek - SCARED!

OK, this is weird, and it scares me. About 6 days ago, I found this little "bump", "lump" ,"nodule", (whatever you want to call it) on my left butt cheek, down at the very bottom (where you sit) and right where the two butt cheeks meet each other. NOw, I found this in the shower, and I'm pretty sure it wasn't there before. OK, so, it wasn't tiny, but it wasn't huge...it was right in between... it was shaped like an oval shape, and it was under the skin, but pushing up, so that when you ran your finger over it, you could DFEINATLEY feel it! Also, what scared me was that it was HARD, AND WHEN YOU PRESS ON IT, IT DOESN'T HURT! OK, so then i freaked out, thinking...TUMOR! Now, i've bounced this off some friends, and nobody thinks it is...i've heard ( and read on the internet) that this sounds like a sebacous cyst, wart, boil, or some kind of calcification..... but nobody thinks it's serious. Well, fine. But, after about 3 days of that thing there, it started to shrink, and finally 2 days ago, it was down to almost nothing. I mean, when I ran my finger over the bottom of the left butt cheek (where the two cheeks meet down at the bottom) you could BARELY even feel it! I had to press in fairy deep (into the butt cheek) to even find it,,,,I did find it, but it was a small little hard thing...

Well, yesterday, it came back! IT's still there. It hasn't gotten as big as it originally was..but, it has gotten bigger again. It almost feels as if it's a pimple down there (where you sit, and sweat)... but HARD (when you press on it), and of course, NOW it's tender because I've been touching it like crazy. The color of it, is basically flesh, but a little red (which i think might be from touching it, i don't know)..... I had my husband to look at this about a million times by now.......he says there is also a hair growing out of it, and he thinks it's an ingrown hair follicle.... I can feel that one hair too, but of course, it's "down there" where there are other hairs too.

I am a nervous wreck here! Will someone please tell me this is not a tumor, or cancer! OK, this is not near the anus ..it's farther down, and directly ON the butt cheek itself, right where the two cheeks touch, at the bottom.
Maybe bacteria? BUt I take two showers a day!!!!!

Please...........somebody tell me........also, this thing does not move...it stays in one place .... I know sometimes cysts move freely, well, this doesn't.....
