Where to Get a Reliable Candida / Allergy Test in the UK?

I have been suffering from what I believe to be seborrhoeic dermatitis for a few years now. I get large yellow flakes coming off my scalp every so often and its making me very depressed. But I go through good and bad phases and I can't find any pattern to indicate why. Some people have suggested it could be an intolerance to something, e.g. MSG.

I've also had some of the symptoms of Candida overgrowth such as Sugar cravings and a white tongue.

I saw a couple of NHS doctors a while back and they were eager to get rid of me as soon as possible without any diagnosis. They prescribed steroid creams and special shampoos that made it worse if anything. Neither of them even asked me to show them my tongue to check for Candida overgrowth.

I was thinking of getting some tests done independently, but there is no way for me to know which companies are any good. Some of them claim to use stuff like bio-resonance feedback or something but it could all just be a load of rubbish. Some of them are charging hundreds of pounds just for an initial consultation and before any tests.

Does anyone have any feedback regarding such companies in the UK, perhaps some success stories? Has anyone managed to improve their Seborrhoeic dermatitis as a result of a test?
