I'm not sure if I am understanding you or not on this, but are you saying we can't learn anything spiritually from other people?
I believe we can. Of course I know we have to be discerning always, making sure everything being learned is sound biblically. But different people with different insights and personalities, can help us learn different truths that we might not learn just on our own, right? Ultimately it is all God doing the teaching, but he can work through other people to do that, don't you think? or not?

I believe that is one of the reasons that God commands us to assemble ourselves together, and not to neglect that, for the very reason that we learn from one another. But also, to comfort one another and rejoice with one another.
