I'm no expert to be sure, but someone posted a while back a link to a terrific site on depression. I took the time to read it all, and its a long web page. My friend seemed depressed and after reading about magnesium and calcium at the site, I suggested that my friend start taking magnesium/calcium daily. Well, its been about 10 days now, and she is so much brighter, faster, quicker, more alert, no delays in answering. So its looks good. I think if we eat kale, avocados and other foods to bring up our levels there would be no need to take supplements, but we looked at the diet and thought she was deficient.
