Essiac Tea and other Herbs with Psyllium? Bad idea due to absorption?

My cat was diagnosed with Mastized liver and lung cancer. I've been treating her with Herbs and an Essiac formula, she's been doing REALLY GREAT.

However, I've been mixing 1/2 teaspoon of psyllium in one 6 oz. can of Natural Balance cat food in the morning with water...ALONG WITH DROPS OF Essiac and other herbs for immune and hyperthyroidism through out the day.

Has the Psyllium been absorbing the Essiac and herbs so she hasn't been getting her herbal meds?

I add it in her food in the a.m. so hopefully the added herbs to the food in later feedings hasn't been absorbed by the psyllium since the psyllium has already soaked up the water in the a.m?

The Vet told us she only has days or weeks due to mastised liver and lung cancer (2 inches big) it's been 3 weeks and doing GREAT.

Should I NOT be giving her Psyllium at all?...her stools have been much better/normal since I added this. Maybe I should give it to her completely separate from the herbs?

Any advice or input would be greatly appreciated.
