Re: hormone test: blood vs. saliva?

I also had a hormone saliva test done, it said that my progesterone was low. too me this makes sense, that is what the mirena was feeding our bodies, so our bodies didn't have to make it anymore (or for 5 years anyway)so maybe our bodies forgot how to make it or trying to fiqure out how to get that balance again?
I had mine removed in Nov 2009 and I feel better than I did around the 5-8 month after removal, its the brain fog that is driving me nuts. Also, after my last period (the day it ended actually) it was like a mac truck ran me over with depression, it was terrible! does this happen to anyone else?
Right now I am on Elivl which has made my headaches lessen ( i was having them almost every day) doing accuputure, taking a high potency multi vitimen, omega, vit D3 and just started Vitex (or chasteberry). My Gyn has there own mix of Chasteberry with other stuff they want to try on me too the link below if anyone is interested in look whats in it
