Starfish kill in Barataria Bay occurred just days before massive fishkill — In same area

The recent massive fishkill in Plaquemines Parish “came several days after the discovery of starfish kill in nearby Barataria Bay,” WWL reported yesterday.

Just one week after the intial blowout on April 27, “Dead starfish washed ashore on the Chandeleur Islands off the Southeastern coast of Louisiana, home of the Breton National Wildlife Refuge,” PBS reported. Oxygen depletion?
