Re: Mukta Vati

Undate from my last post. I started taking 1,500 - 2,000 mg of Vitamin D a day and it got rid of the nose congestion caused by Mukta Vati. It's so weird. So I re-increased to my usual dosage on the mukta vati without nose congestion. It's so weird... but it works for me. No only that but I don't get colds anymore since being on the Vitamin D. I use to have at least 6 colds during the winter. But for two years now since taking Vit. D -- no colds. It's the only vitamin I take. I start taking it around August-September to prepare me for the winter season. It takes time for it to build up in your system (3 months). Just thought I'd let you guys know my status and what has helped me with the congestion. It just so happens that I went to the doctor two years ago to check my Vit. D. levels and it was low. So I started taking it since then. However, it is recommended that you check your Vit. D levels before taking extremely high levels of Vitamin D. However, you can always decrease the amount of mukta vati you are taking. It should relieve the nose congestion. Again, I was told by the company to decrease when there is congestion and tireness. So decrease by a tablet or so. Do it gradually..
