Fall Gardening


I've never tried this, but hopefully will next year. But supposedly you can grow crops till a couple of frosts, so you get a second crop. Plant your normal crops going east to west and then you can start a second crop on the north side of the crops that are already coming up and use them for shade to protect your fall crop that's seeding. But in times of survival, it would be nice to have two crops each year to make it through.

Like I said I've never done this, so any comments that might shed light on this would be great. Here's the article on it that shows all the details.
