AF/Progesterone question
I a 25 year old female I've had AF for about 2 years. It's been a struggle but I always managed to get it under "control" just by going to bed early and sleeping. About 3-3.5 months ago it spiraled out of control due to heavy stress. I just totally crashed and couldn't get a grip on it. I was anxious all of the time, couldn't sleep, morning cortisol rushes were killing me, blood sugar issues, no appetite, just miserable. What finally prompted me to get some testing done was my thyroid was aching horribly. Like I had swallowed and egg and it was stuck. I got thyroid testing done, inflammation, antibody testing-it all came back very normal. I also got hormone testing done. My progesterone is extremely low, 37, when it should be around a hundred according to the lab. My estrogen is disproportionately high and thus very imbalanced. I started a regimen about 2 weeks ago. I take a coenzyme B food complex, about 2k in Vitamin C, Lower bowel Balance colon cleanser, a probiotic(I have chronic bacterial vaginosis), and Vitex. I also take 3mg of Melatonin at night. I have no problems sleeping now. I also take a yoga class 2-3 times a week and that helps tremendously with my breathing and stress.
I can see a drastic difference in these last 2 weeks. I sleep better, I fall asleep quickly as long as I am not overly excited, the lump in my throat is hardly there and if it does start hurting, I take a vitamin C or Vitex and it is gone. I have no anxiety, I'm able to concentrate, my voice isn't shaking, my body isn't shaking, I'm not having diahhrea. I'm just overall a lot happier and life is pleasant.
However, I am experiencing some new symptoms. I have very oily skin, acne, and now horrible dandruff. I also have very black dark circles under my eyes that were not there before as bad as now. My skin and scalp are acting like they did when I hit puberty.
I don't know what I am doing wrong or if my whole routine is wrong.
ETA- I added in Vitamin D, Krill oil, Vitamin E, ALIVE liquid vitamin. I cut back on the Vitex. My symptoms have somewhat calmed down.
My stress levels for the next 3 weeks are going to be high. I'm wondering if you have any recommendations for this. I can already feel that my anxiety level has gone up overnight.
