Really, you amaze me. All of your observations about frustration and seeing things in a positive light, and propelling ourselves forward regardless- YES. I think we are all going through these feelings as we go about our lives, making steps toward or during the IP. It's a constant process, and like you said, Nothing is Permanent, even the weather is in a constant state of flux. I definitely will think of that analogy the next time I am down on myself...:)
