Yes, please try oil pulling before you have that root canal done! I have had an abscessed tooth that induced some pain (could hardly stand brushing my teeth in that area), started oil pulling with org. sunflower oil mixed with some oil of oregano in the morning, continued for about 2 weeks, and the abscess is completely gone now. I also take Iodine regularly, of course. Hope you'll heal soon... Tweet
