yes, look at a persons ulterior motives. i found if you just listen and let a person talk and they will tell you who they are and thier ulterior motives, but you have to listen.

also pray to God for discernment of spirits.

we had a cs lecture called, 'other people are hell'
and the cs speaker said most people send poison arrows out in thier thought. ie., if you feel good one day and you see a neighbor and the neighbor says, 'you look sick today, are you ok'

that neighbor just sent you a thought of sickness, a poison arrow of sick thought.

studying christian Science will teach you to turn the arrows of sickness thought sent your way by others into
'the love of the dove' before it, the arrow, reaches you.
