some blood test results

Hi hv and everybody
I've taken more blood tests, as the first ones were all ok - ruling out any problems of kidneys, liver, diabetes - in the hope of making some step forward in getting a diagnosis.
My main symptoms are weight gain, pain in the feet and sometimes also calfs and hips, skipping monthly cycle. Some days I feel really ok and some others I feel crap but that may be like everybody.

first of all, my idea that I could be vit. d deficient seems to be right.
25-OH-vit D 21.1 ng/ml
Given that I've already supplemented for 4 months since spring with 2.000 IU/day of vit. D3, and that I've been a bit to the seaside in Italy this summer, it seems to me that I must have been really low before this spring. I certainly feel better than this winter.
So first question is: is it ok to continue with 2,000IU a day? or do you suggest a different dosage?

I also made tests on the hypothesis that there might be some reumatoid problem, but luckily the values are ok

Thyroid seems ok too:
TSH 2.56 microU/ml

Now hormones, I thought I was in menopause but according to my gynecologist it might be lack of progesteron:
FT4 8.9 pg/ml
LH 24.3 mlU/ml
FSH 13.9 mlU/ml
prolactine 36.4 ng/ml
estradiolo 184 pg/ml
progesterone 0.2 ng/ml
high prolactine might be also due to some stress as I hadn't slept well.
what she wants me to do is take progesterone for a couple of weeks and then see if the cycle comes, so as to definitely understand if it's the low progesterone that's the culprit. I yick at the idea of taking hormones, should I do it or not? what do you think?

last thing, the ph of the urine is 7, which I thought was a good thing but in the test sheet it says it should be lower. Is it true? what does it mean?

any other things come to your mind based on these values?

many thanks as always
